Princeton, TX, March 28, 2025: A 30-year-old Indian-origin man, Abhishek Kolli, was found dead on Sunday, March 23, 2025, in what local authorities suspect to be a case of suicide. Originally from Gudivada in Andhra Pradesh’s Krishna district, Abhishek had been reported missing a day earlier, prompting a search operation involving law enforcement and community members. His body was discovered the following day in Princeton, Texas.

Abhishek had been facing financial hardships after losing his job six months ago. He had been married for just a year and had previously lived with his wife in Phoenix, Texas, before relocating to Princeton. According to his twin brother, Aravind Kolli, Abhishek’s struggles with financial instability became overwhelming.

In response to the sudden loss, Aravind launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover funeral expenses and transport Abhishek’s body back to India. In the campaign description, Aravind expressed the family’s immense grief and financial distress. “His passing wasn’t just a tragedy—it was a devastating consequence of the overwhelming financial crisis he faced and unforeseen circumstances,” he wrote. He also noted that Abhishek was the family’s sole breadwinner, and his death has left their parents without financial support.

“We want to honor his memory with dignity, without the shadow of financial worry hanging over us,” the campaign states.

While initial investigations suggest suicide, authorities are continuing their probe into the circumstances of Abhishek’s death.
