ATLANTA, GA, September 29, 2026: Air India has launched its “Great Escape Sale,” offering discounted international fares for travelers from the United States and Canada to destinations across the Gulf, South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Far East. The limited-period sale runs through October 3, 2026, with travel permitted until March 31, 2027.
Under the promotion, one-way economy fares from the United States start at $350, while return fares begin at $650. Travelers departing from Canada can book one-way tickets starting at CAD 449 and round-trip tickets from CAD 899 on select international routes.
The sale covers flights operated by Air India and Air India Express, with connections to destinations across the airlines’ international network.

The advertised fares are all-inclusive and apply to economy-class travel on select international routes. Actual fares will depend on the destination, travel dates and seat availability.
Additional discounts for direct bookings
Travelers who are logged-in members and book directly through Air India’s website or mobile app can receive up to 50% off the applicable convenience fee, wherever the airline charges one.
The promotional fares are available for both one-way and round-trip bookings. Tickets can be purchased through Air India’s website, mobile app, contact center and authorized travel agents.
Bookings must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on October 3, 2026. For travelers originating in the United States, Canada and Australia, the promotional travel period extends through March 31, 2027, subject to applicable blackout dates.
Air India said seats available at promotional fares are limited and subject to inventory at the time of booking.
The Air India Group, comprising Air India and its low-cost subsidiary Air India Express, currently operates more than 300 aircraft, serving 60 domestic and 51 international destinations across five continents.
The airline, which returned to Tata Sons in 2022 after seven decades of government ownership, is undergoing a five-year transformation program known as Vihaan.AI. As part of the program, Air India has placed orders for 600 new aircraft and is progressively retrofitting its existing fleet.
