The Springs Cinema & Taphouse to screen six upcoming Telugu movies at Indian film festival

Atlanta, GA, March 16, 2018: The Springs Cinema & Taphouse is hosting an Indian Film Festival for the next 6 weeks at their Sandy Springs Theater, with six Telugu language movies.

Here is the line-up of movies they will be showing.

Formerly the Lefont Sandy Springs until November 2017, The Springs Cinema & Taphouse continues to showcase a wide variety of films, ranging from independent and foreign film to smart films from Hollywood and quality family and commercial films.

March 15 

Name : Kiraak Party (Telugu)

Synopsis: Kirrak Party is a 2018 Indian Telugu language campus romantic comedy film directed by Sharan Koppisetty and produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under AK Entertainments banner.[2] The film is the remake of the most successful Kannada film Kirik Party (2016) which was directed by Rishab Shetty.[3] The film features Nikhil Siddharth in the lead role along with Simran Pareenja, making her debut and Samyuktha Hegde reprising her role from the Kannada version.

To bring in the Telugu nativity, the film’s screenplay is written by Sudheer Varma and the dialogues are written by Chandoo Mondeti, both being full-fledged directors.[5] The film’s score and soundtrack are scored by B. Ajaneesh Loknath who composed for the Kannada version as well. The theatrical trailer was released on March 13, 2018. The film is scheduled to release on 16 March 2018.

Needi Naadi Oke Katha is a family drama film Produced by Aran Media Works which has Sree Vishnu, Satna Titus in the lead roles. The movie is written and directed by Venu Udugula.


March 29

 Name : Rangastalam (Telugu)

Synopsis: Ram Charan Rangasthalam (English: Theatre/Stage) is an upcoming Indian Telugu period revenge drama directed by Sukumar and starring Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni in the lead roles, while Aadhi Pinisetty and Jagapathi Babu play crucial roles. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The movie will see Ram Charan play a villager and is an action thriller story set in the country side. The movie was launched by Chiranjeevi in February and commenced shooting in April 2017.[1][2][3] The film will have Ram Charan playing as a deaf villager who is an engineer.

Krishnarjuna Yudham (English: War of Krishna and Arjuna) is an upcoming Telugu film written and directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and starring Nani, in dual role.

Name : Bharat Ane nenu (Telugu)

Bharat Ane Nenu (English: I, Bharat) is an upcoming Indian political thriller film directed by Koratala Siva, featuring Mahesh Babu and Kiara Advani in the lead roles.
