Atlanta, GA, July 6, 2019: Indian-American actress Mindy Kaling who is vacationing in Hawaii took to Instagram to share a body positivity message along with her bikini photos.
This is what Kaling captioned her photo: “IDK who needs to hear this but, WEAR A BIKINI IF YOU WANT TO WEAR A BIKINI. You don’t have to be a size 0.”
Kaling is seen sporting bikinis by Tory Burch and Flagpole, and some fancy shoes and accessories.
In a separate video message, she talked about body positivity.
“What I was struck about Hawaii is that everyone wears bikinis,” she shared. “It does not matter what your body type is. You rock a bikini because you’re in Hawaii. There’s so much body positivity there, that I, who is always really shy about my body, would wear bikinis.”
Kaling played Kelly Kapoor in “The Office” sitcom from 2005 to 2013. Recognition for her work on “The Office” include a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series in 2010. She gained wider attention for creating, writing, producing and starring in “The Mindy Project” comedy series.
