Lt. Cmdr. Arti Lamba of Atlanta receives Navy Achievement Medal

Atlanta GA: Lt. Cmdr. Arti Lamba received the Navy Achievement Medal at the Navy Operational Support Center Atlanta on Jan. 11 for outstanding performance in the Navy Reserve. Lt. Cmdr.

Lamba serves as the assistant officer in charge of the Navy Reserve medical clinic at Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta.

She was recognized for her diligence in the clinic’s recent relocation from mobile offices to a newly renovated and upgraded medical facility. Lt. Cmdr. Lamba, who works as a dentist in her civilian life, was commissioned in 2009 in the Navy Reserve.

Born in Delhi, her family shifted base to the USA in 1992. Lamba moved from Houston to Atlanta in 2009 where she lives with her husband and two children.
