Radio Surabhi completes first-ever 24-Hour Radiothon, Life is Beautiful by Mee… Raa

Dallas, TX, January 19, 2025 – Radio Surabhi, the first Telugu radio station in the United States, has achieved a major milestone with the successful completion of its inaugural 24-hour radiothon, “Life is Beautiful by Mee… Raa.” Held on January 17, 2025, the event was dedicated to raising awareness about mental health and supporting the Parents Association for Autistic Children.

Hosted by Rajeswari Udayagiri, also known as “Mee… Raa,” the radiothon brought together an esteemed lineup of panelists and guests to discuss mental health challenges and share strategies for improving individual and community well-being. Among the notable speakers were Dr. Jampala Chowdary, Kiran Prabha, Aisha Ejoumale, Dr. Gayathri Reddy, Dr. Latha Yedlapally, Deepthi Tanikella, and Vaidya Amba Lakshmy. Prominent community leaders, including George Fuller (Mayor of McKinney), Patrick Kelly (Pro Tem Mayor of Lewisville), Gopal Ponnangi (Frisco ISD Board of Trustees), and Raj Daniels (President of the U.S.-India Chamber of Commerce), also participated, underscoring the event’s broad community support.
