Qatar Airways opens reservations for Atlanta route; moves launch date to June 2016

NRI Pulse Staff Report

Atlanta, GA, June 23: Qatar Airways last week opened reservation for its Doha–Atlanta route, which was announced in early May 2015. Previously the airline had said it would launch this daily Boeing 777-200LR service from July 1, 2016. However the launch date is moving forward to June 1st 2016, one month earlier than planned, according to reports.

The schedule is as follows:

QR755 Doha to Atlanta departing 8:30AM arriving 4:25PM
QR756 Atlanta to Doha departing 8:30PM arriving 5:30PM (+1 day)

A non-stop flight from Atlanta to India either directly or via the Middle East is a long cherished interest of the Indian-American community in Georgia and the Southeast region.

Qatar Airways was recently voted the world’s best airline at the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards.
