LPS Scholarship Foundation awards $100,000 for the year 2021-2022

Nashville, TN, December 24, 2021: The Leuva Patidar Samaj Foundation in conjunction with Jaydev & Purnima Foundation have jointly distributed in scholarships $100,000 for the 2021-2022 academic year.

The LPS Foundation had received over one hundred applications for the prestigious scholarship this year. It is important to know that LPS scholarship foundation started in the year 2000 and it has awarded more than half a million dollars to the students.

LPS scholarship believes that education is the key to ameliorating the community at large and a fundamental ingredient to a healthy democracy. Popularly known as “LPS” the Leuva Patidar (Patels) known for its vibrancy and business acumen, hails from Surat, Navsari, Tapi, Bharuch and Valsad district of southern Gujarat. These community members were among some of the pioneers of Hotel industry in USA.

The LPS Foundation Inc, a federally qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, opens doors to higher education through direct assistance programs for students and through active participation in many aspects of the LPS community.

The Foundation’s core financial aid programs provide outright grants to students for education to qualified LPS community students who are pursuing bachelors, associate, technical degrees and post graduates at accredited educational institutions throughout the United States.

The LPS Foundation has been growing since its establishment in year 2000.
