Bubble Planet: Where Imagination Floats and Every Age Feels Like a Kid Again

BY NAMITA DOGRA SUDAN

Amid the hustle and bustle of daily life, sometimes all we need is a dose of playfulness to feel alive again. The NRI Pulse team recently found that perfect escape at Bubble Planet, an immersive experience in Northeast Atlanta that’s quickly becoming a family favorite across generations.

We visited with our daughters, and even brought along my 70-year-old parents, and to our surprise, everyone from our 8-year-olds to the grandparents had an absolute blast. My husband and I felt like kids again, laughing and posing for photos in this magical world where bubbles, lights, and imagination come together beautifully.

A Journey into the World of Bubbles

From the moment you step into Bubble Planet, you’re transported into a surreal, colorful universe. Each room offers something different, glowing orbs, mirrors, interactive bubbles, and mesmerizing optical illusions that make for perfect Instagram moments. One of the biggest highlights was the air balloon flight simulator, a virtual reality experience that lets you soar through a dreamy sky full of bubbles.

Every corner is designed to awaken your senses. Whether it’s walking through balloon clouds, stepping into kaleidoscopic tunnels, or laughing as soap bubbles float around you, there’s a pure sense of joy in every experience.

Fun for All Generations

What sets Bubble Planet apart is how seamlessly it brings together all age groups. Our daughters couldn’t get enough of the colorful play zones, while our mother marveled at the illusions and sensory art. Watching three generations enjoying the same experience together was heartwarming. It reminded us how essential it is to take a break from our screens and everyday routines to simply have fun.

The Vision Behind the Magic

Bubble Planet is created by Exhibition Hub, the global leader in immersive exhibitions known for hits like Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience and Jurassic World: The Exhibition. The concept was inspired by the late Mario Iacampo (1957–2023), who believed in the power of imagination to bring happiness and relief from the mundane. His legacy continues through the work of John Zaller, executive producer and veteran curator of immersive experiences.

Their vision is simple yet powerful, to offer people a place to escape, recharge, and reconnect with their creative side.

Why You Should Go

In today’s fast-paced, hyper-connected world, experiences like Bubble Planet remind us that play isn’t just for children, it’s therapy for the soul. Studies show that activities that spark imagination and creativity can reduce stress and improve mental well-being, and this experience proves exactly that.

Whether you’re visiting with kids, parents, or friends, you’ll leave with laughter, photos, and memories that make you feel lighter and more alive.

For those planning a visit, Bubble Planet offers 60 to 90 minutes of immersive fun for guests of all ages, with tickets starting at $18.90 for adults and $13.90 for children (kids under two enter free). Located in Northeast Atlanta, it’s open Sunday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Fridays and Saturdays until 9:00 p.m., with Tuesdays closed. Don’t forget to wear socks for the bubble bath area! Parking is ample and free.

Final Word:

If you’re looking for an enchanting family outing that sparks joy and creativity for every generation, Bubble Planet is a must-visit Atlanta gem. You’ll walk in curious — and float out smiling.
