Woman Caught on Camera Hurling Racial Slurs, Police Probe As Hate Crime

NRI PULSE STAFF REPORT

Pinole, CA, April 18, 2025: A video filmed in the parking lot of Pear Street Bistro in Pinole, California, has gone viral, showing a woman repeatedly using racial slurs, including the N-word, during an altercation with a Black woman. The incident, which occurred Sunday afternoon in a public parking lot in downtown Pinole, is now being investigated as a hate incident by the Pinole Police Department.

In the video, the woman can be seen in her car, shouting slurs and personal insults at the Black woman. Between repeated uses of the N-word, she also mocked the other woman’s appearance, saying, “fake a— eyelashes.” The verbal assault ended with the woman yelling, “Get outta my face, you f— n—.”

The woman on the receiving end of the rant told KTVU that the attack was unprovoked. “It’s quite unfortunate the verbiage she was using. It’s unacceptable,” she said. “I don’t understand why she was using it towards anybody in public at all. She’s obviously not supposed to be using that type of vulgar language.”

Pinole police officers responded to the scene and spoke with both parties. In a statement, the department confirmed: “Due to the nature of the verbal exchange between the involved parties, the incident has been classified as a hate incident and is currently under investigation by the department’s criminal investigation bureau.”

The woman seen in the video has since taken down portions of her social media and could not be reached for comment.

The footage quickly gained traction online after being reposted by Felicia Carr of Fairfield, who helped identify the woman using the slurs.
