Mumbai, India, April 22, 2025 – Maye Musk, author, model, and dietitian, marked her 77th birthday in Mumbai this week during the Hindi-language launch of her memoir, A Woman Makes A Plan. The event was hosted by Rajkamal Prakashan, the Indian publishing house responsible for the Hindi translation of the book.
In a series of social media posts, Musk expressed appreciation for the presence of friends and her Indian publishers at the launch event, which coincided with her birthday. “I was so happy to have friends and my Indian publishers at the launch of my book in Hindi, available on Amazon,” she wrote.
The book is titled “Jab Aurat Sochti Hai“ in Hindi.
Prior to the launch gala, Musk signed copies of the Hindi edition in a room decorated with flowers. She thanked Rajkamal Prakashan for translating and publishing the book for Indian readers.
Musk also acknowledged a floral birthday gesture from her son, Elon Musk. “Thank you Elon for sending birthday flowers to me in Mumbai,” she posted.
A Woman Makes A Plan chronicles Musk’s personal and professional journey, sharing stories of resilience, single motherhood, and aging with confidence. The Hindi edition aims to reach a broader audience in India through its translation.
The launch adds to the growing trend of international authors connecting with Indian readers through regional translations of popular works.
