Atlanta, GA, December 22, 2024: Atlanta, known for its rich history, vibrant cultural scene, and status as a global business hub, has been added to IndiGo Airlines’ growing U.S. network. India’s largest low-cost carrier announced an expansion of its codeshare partnership with Turkish Airlines, now offering direct connections to Atlanta (ATL), Houston (IAH), Miami (MIA), and Los Angeles (LAX) via Istanbul. The new routes are set to begin operations on December 18, 2024, further bridging India and the United States.
This development increases IndiGo’s U.S. destinations to nine, complementing existing routes to New York, Washington, Boston, Chicago (ORD), and San Francisco (SFO).
Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, emphasized the significance of this expansion, stating, “These new connections further enhance travel options for our customers, offering even more avenues for business travelers, aspiring students, as well as tourists and those visiting friends and relatives (VFR). We remain committed to providing affordable, on-time, courteous, and hassle-free travel experiences across our extensive network.”
Through its partnership with Turkish Airlines, IndiGo now connects travelers to 43 destinations worldwide. The airline’s expansion aims to cater to a growing demand for international travel from India while maintaining competitive pricing and reliable services.
