Governor Kemp appoints Kartik Bhatt to state board

Atlanta, GA, July 17, 2019: Indian-American businessman Kartik H. Bhatt was among 14 people sworn in by Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp to various boards, commissions, and authorities Tuesday.

Kartik H. Bhatt has been appointed as a consumer member for the Georgia Board of Examiners for the Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and Laboratory Analysts.

Bhatt and his wife, Twisha, have a child and live in Marietta. Bhatt is a property manager with Laxminarayan 108, LLC.

A long time resident of Cobb, Bhatt served ten years as Animal Control Officer in the county’s Department of Public Safety.

Bhatt’s proud family was with him during the swearing in ceremony.
