Global Telangana Association hosts inspiring women’s day celebration in Duluth

Duluth, GA, March 3, 2025: The Global Telangana Association (GTA) celebrated International Women’s Day 2025 with an inspiring and empowering event at Jade Banquet Hall on March 7. The celebration drew an impressive crowd of 700 women who participated in a memorable evening filled with impactful discussions, cultural performances, and community bonding.

The event began with a powerful panel discussion featuring accomplished leaders. Dr. Lalitha C. Medepalli, MD, FACC, a prominent cardiologist, shared invaluable health insights, while Forsyth County District Commissioners Laura Semanson and Mendy Moore offered their perspectives on leadership. Deepa Reddy Madadi, a successful entrepreneur, captivated the audience with her inspiring journey. Nisha Agarwal, owner of Tanishq Atlanta, shared valuable entrepreneurial wisdom that resonated with the audience.

The evening continued with vibrant performances choreographed by talented artists Anuja Golla, Shireesha Mantri, and others, whose creativity transformed the stage into a visual spectacle. The cultural program was further elevated by a panel of esteemed judges including Anusha Vangara, Priya Madhav, Suneetha Potnuru, Lavanya Guduru, Priya Dharmendran, Veena Pothula, and Shruthi Chittoory, whose thoughtful evaluations enhanced the performances.

Special guests such as Sohini Ayinala, Hetal Mehta, Malathi Nagabhairava, Lakshmi Thesam, Poolani Jasti, Dr. Madhavi Rayapudi, Gautami Prem, Seema Garg, Neetu Chauhan, Deepika Reddy Nalla, Swathi Chennuri, Gayatri Ayala, and Baljeet Kaur added to the evening’s significance.

The successful event was organized by the dedicated GTA Women Leadership Team, led by Swapna Kaswa (BOD – National Team), Aparna Pingle (Advisor), Ramya Kamarajugadda (Treasurer), Pallavi Shiva (Cultural Chair), Dr. Nandini Sunkireddy (Health Care Chair), Shilpa Sarapu (Women’s Services Chair), Ramya Harika Putcha (Women Empowerment Chair), and Bindiya Ramesh (Events Co-Chair). GTA-Atlanta EC team members, including Arun Darpally, Kashyap Thangada, Praneeth Kumar Madas, Srinivas Burra, Rohit Chepyala, Ramakanth Annadi, Bala, Rambabu Karnati, Ananth Joshi, and Abhinay Gatla, also played key roles in ensuring the event’s success.

GTA President-Elect Global Bapu R Kethireddy, GTA-Atlanta President Arvind Katta, and GTA-Atlanta President-Elect Santhosh Gaddam expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all the women who participated and made the event a memorable celebration of empowerment and achievement.

The event was supported by sponsors Orpine, Tanishq, HC Robotics, Xade lIT, Aspire Medical Group, and Maa OBGYN. Desi District generously provided the evening’s catering, ensuring attendees enjoyed a delightful culinary experience.
