Atlanta, GA, August 31, 2023: A 23-year-old Indian resident of Clayton County has been missing for the past week, according to the police.

Abhishek Kumar who worked at a local Shell gas station, was last seen on August 23, 2023, at 10:40 p.m. in the 1700th block of Noah’s Ark Road, Jonesboro, GA 30238.

“Mr. Kumar was last seen getting into a dark-colored car (possibly a Ford Fusion). The preliminary investigation indicates that Abhishek Kumar may be in danger,” the Clayton County police department said through a press release.

According to our sources, Abhishek shared the apartment with five or six other men from his village, Kalaram in Haryana. There were also three other men who lived in the apartment. On the evening he went missing, the roommates were drinking in the apartment and possibly got into a fight.

The roommates have also since vanished. The authorities and Abhishek’s relatives have reportedly not been able to get in touch with any of them for the past week.

The incident was reported by Abhishek’s friend, who is also a resident of Jonesboro, and his cousin who lives in California.

Detectives conducted an area search of the last known locations, conducted a welfare check of Abhishek’s residence, and have been conducting multiple interviews. This investigation is active.

Abhishek was last seen wearing dark pants and a Polo shirt with Shell logo. His family believes that he met with foul play.
