Chino Hills, CA, March 9 2025: The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Chino Hills, California, was vandalized on Saturday, March 8, with anti-Hindu and anti-Modi graffiti, according to media reports.

The incident has sparked widespread condemnation from community leaders and officials. BAPS Public Affairs denounced the act, emphasizing the community’s resilience against hate. “We will never let hate take root. Our common humanity and faith will ensure that peace and compassion prevail,” the organization stated.

The Coalition of Hindus of North America (CoHNA) linked the attack to a pattern of anti-Hindu vandalism, citing previous incidents in Sacramento, New York and other cities. India’s Ministry of External Affairs condemned the vandalism and urged local authorities to take stringent action.
