Hindu Students Council Announces 36th Annual Camp Coming This November 2026

Atlanta, GA, August 31, 2026Hindu Students Council (HSC), North America’s largest independent pan-Hindu youth organization, is thrilled to announce its upcoming 36th Annual HSC Camp, taking place over Thanksgiving weekend from November 26 to November 29, 2026.

The annual retreat will gather college students, recent alumni, and young professionals from chapters across North America for a transformative weekend dedicated to exploring Hindu Dharma, building leadership skills, and fostering lifelong friendships in an uplifting, natural setting.

Founded in 1990, HSC has empowered young Hindus on college campuses for over three decades. The 2026 November Camp offers participants a chance to hit pause on academic stress and engage in a rich program of intellectual, spiritual, and social activities.

Hindu Students Council (HSC) is an international 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing opportunities for college students and young professionals to learn about Hindu heritage through educational, cultural, and community service initiatives. Over 350,000 students and youth have participated in HSC activities since its inception in 1990. HSC is the oldest independent Hindu youth organization outside of India, serving high school and university chapters across North America.

Camp Highlights & Program Features:

  • Interactive Workshops & Discussions: Thought-provoking sessions on Hindu philosophy, heritage, Vedic science, and navigating Hindu identity on modern college campuses.
  • Leadership & Chapter Networking: Collaborative forums for chapter leaders and members to share best practices, exchange campus project ideas, and strengthen the national HSC network.
  • Yoga & Mindfulness: Daily morning yoga, pranayama, and meditation sessions designed for personal wellness and mental clarity.
  • Cultural Celebrations & Team Building: Group competitions, late-night bonfires, music, Garba/Bhangra dancing, and social events that connect youth on a deep, personal level.

“HSC Camp provides a vital safe space where students can openly discuss and learn about their culture and faith. High school and college experiences shape who we are and we get to experience it together through so many events, pujas, and activities with like minded individuals ,” said Arushi Ramaka, HSC President. “We gain a sense of confidence, knowledge, and community support we need to proudly represent our Hindu Dharma on their campuses.”

  • Eligibility: College students, high school seniors, recent graduates, and young professionals.
  • Registration: Registration is now open. Space is limited, and early sign-ups are encouraged.
