May 28, 2026: A viral video showing an Indian couple being subjected to racist abuse in the United States has sparked widespread outrage online, while social media users and advocacy groups have pointed to the alleged extremist ties of the man behind the confrontation.
The video, which circulated widely on X and other social media platforms, shows a man confronting an Indian couple and asking whether they are from India. After the couple calmly responds, the man tells them to “go home” and “get out of my country,” while also allegedly using a racial slur.
The account linked to the video, operating under the handle “@AyTone4th,” had already drawn scrutiny online before advocacy group Stop Hindu Hate Advocacy Network, weighed in. Users on X and Reddit had previously circulated screenshots alleging the account featured neo-Nazi imagery and racist content targeting Indians.

In a post on X, Stop Hindu Hate Advocacy Network amplified those allegations, describing the man as a “Neo-Nazi who routinely harasses Indians.” The group shared screenshots appearing to show Nazi-related symbols, including a black flag and a Hakenkreuz, the German term for the swastika associated with Nazi ideology.
The advocacy group also alleged that the man spent two years in federal prison over a threatening message sent to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). Independent verification of the prison claim was not immediately available.

The X account associated with the viral clip has reportedly posted multiple anti-Indian videos in recent months. In one previously circulated clip referenced by social media users, the man allegedly entered an Indian restaurant and mocked Indian culture.
The incident has reignited debate over rising online hate directed at South Asians and immigrants in the United States. Many users praised the Indian couple for remaining calm during the confrontation and avoiding escalation.
The exact location and date of the incident have not been officially confirmed by authorities, and it remains unclear whether any complaint has been filed in connection with the encounter.
