Atlanta, GA, September 30, 2025: With the divine blessings of Sri Balaji and Sri Ramalingeswara Swami, the Hindu Temple of Atlanta facilitated and hosted the 48th Sai Health Fair at the temple premises in Riverdale, Georgia, on Saturday, September 13, and September 20, 2025, respectively. Health fairs like these are organized to promote the enduring philosophies of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.—nonviolence, community service, and social justice. This event was a true celebration of service, wellness, and community spirit, and was a remarkable success.
More than 500 participants received free health screenings designed to promote awareness and preventive care. Free consultations were provided by 20 committed, dedicated, and widely respected physicians representing 14 specialties, along with GINA nurses, assisted by over 20 volunteers.

Over 215 people registered online for comprehensive blood tests offered at a nominal fee of $15 on September 13. These tests were provided by Health Soft USA’s Kintu Shah and eight skilled phlebotomists, including four GINA nurses, with assistance from Vidya Kanagaraj, RN. Health Soft USA powered the comprehensive blood work services that form the foundation for early diagnosis and preventive care.

Cardiologists: Dr. Ravi Bathina, Dr. Devendra Koganti, and Dr. Narasimhulu Neelagaru
Endocrinologists: Dr. Geetha Soodini and Dr. Subramanyam Naidu
Orthopedist: Dr. Natarajan
Gastroenterologist: Dr. Kavitha Gopal
Rheumatologist: Dr. Atul Khasnis
General Surgery: Dr. Ishna Sharma
Family Practice: Dr. Keerthy Reddy, Dr. Madhavi Devaraju, and Dr. Reneeta Basu
Internists: Dr. Shylaja Prabhakar and Dr. Anand Shah
Ophthalmologist: Dr. Indira Menon
Audiologist: Dr. Sridhar Krishna Murthy of Auburn University, Alabama, performed 25 audio screenings
ENT: Dr. Shrinath Nadig
Neurosurgery: Dr. Kishore Vedala
Ob/Gyn: Dr. Satya Suddala
Pediatrics: Dr. Sreedevi Gowravaram
Physical Therapy: Dr. Deepak Bhagwandas
Dentistry: Dr. Supriti Balyan

More than 60 EKGs were conducted by Briana Lewis, while over 80 bone-density tests were performed by Balamurali and Vasudha Edara. CPR demonstrations and stroke prevention advice were provided by Dr. Pradip Kamat and Dr. Madhavi.
Alternative medicine and homeopathy consultations introducing holistic healing options were led by Hemalatha Kandimalla. Certified nutritionist and Health & Wellness Coach, Rajitha Bommakanti, RN, provided practical advice promoting healthy lifestyles. Yoga sessions were conducted by Trushna Rao.
A total of 76 free flu vaccinations were administered by Dishank Patel from Walgreens Pharmacy, while Medicare Physician Assistant Binal Patel provided valuable information on Medicare.

Tea, coffee, an assortment of juices, and a continental breakfast were served to all participants. Lunch was provided to all doctors, nurses, technicians, and volunteers by the Hindu Temple of Atlanta’s Food Committee, coordinated by Kishore Puttagunta.
The HTA Executive Team shared, “Beyond numbers—a spirit of healing. The entire environment radiated positivity, care, and dedication to wellness. Participants deeply appreciated the professionalism, smooth flow, and genuine kindness shown by the doctors, volunteers, and Temple staff.”

Special appreciation was extended to Dr. Sujatha Reddy Garu for her outstanding leadership, tireless energy, and heartfelt coordination. Thanks were also expressed to HTA President Ravi Kari and Past President Prashanthi Asireddy for their overall support and guidance.

A sincere thank-you was offered to every participating doctor, volunteer, nutritionist, alternative medicine specialist, and bone marrow awareness advocate whose efforts made the event impactful, memorable, and life-enhancing.
