Equifax to Invest $25 Million in Alpharetta Campus Expansion, Add 250 Jobs

NRI PULSE STAFF REPORT

Alpharetta, GA, September 4, 2025: Credit reporting giant Equifax has announced plans to invest $25 million to expand its Alpharetta campus, a move that will bring nearly 250 high-tech jobs to metro Atlanta over the next three years.

The expansion will transform approximately 65,000 square feet of existing data center space at the company’s Windward Concourse location into modern office facilities for its corporate technology teams.

“This expansion reflects what so many leading companies already know—Alpharetta is a premier destination for top tech talent and innovative businesses,” Alpharetta Mayor Jim Gilvin said.

Alpharetta, home to hundreds of technology firms, has become one of Georgia’s most dynamic corporate hubs. Equifax, which already employs more than 1,600 people in the city, is one of its largest private-sector employers.

The newly created roles will be focused on technology and innovation, reinforcing Equifax’s shift from data-center operations toward software, analytics, and digital services.

City leaders said the project highlights Alpharetta’s growing appeal to tech companies and professionals seeking opportunity in metro Atlanta.

The announcement, made September 3, 2025, signals a strong long-term commitment by Equifax to the region, while positioning the company to strengthen its workforce in a rapidly evolving financial technology landscape.
