Indian National Wanted in Dawsonville Rape Case

Dawsonville, GA, July 9 2025:  The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) alert for a 21-year-old Indian national wanted in connection with a rape incident that allegedly occurred at Dawsonville Suites.

According to a public/media release from the Sheriff’s Office, the suspect has been identified as Abhishek LNU. The designation “LNU” is commonly used by law enforcement to indicate “Last Name Unknown.”

The incident is being investigated under case number 20251319. Authorities allege that the suspect, described as a male standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, was born on August 20, 2003.

A warrant has been issued for the suspect’s arrest on a charge of rape. The Sheriff’s Office is actively seeking information regarding his whereabouts.

“The Sheriff’s Office is seeking information pertaining to the location of the above wanted person,” the release states. “If you have any information, please contact Investigator Jen Wright at 706-974-1050.”

The case is being overseen by Investigator Jen Wright, with Captain D. Bennett serving as Investigations Commander.
