Indian-American teen found safe after going missing

Frisco, TX, April 10, 2024: In a heartening turn of events, 17-year-old Ishika Thakore, the Indian-American student who went missing earlier this week in Frisco, Texas, has been found safe and sound. The Frisco Police Department confirmed yesterday that Thakore has been located, bringing an end to the community’s concerns and the search efforts that followed her disappearance.

The Frisco Police Department issued a Critical Missing Alert and appealed to the public for any information regarding her whereabouts. She was last seen on Monday, April 8, at 11:30 PM in the 11900-block of Brownwood Dr. in Frisco. Descriptions provided by authorities described Thakore as approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing around 175 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black, long-sleeve t-shirt and red/green pajama pants.

The Frisco Police Department expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed to the search and offered their support.

Details surrounding Thakore’s reappearance and the circumstances of her disappearance were not immediately disclosed by authorities.
