NRI Pulse Staff Report

Atlanta, GA, April 30, 2023: Two Indian-American kids, Aarya Dogra Sudan, and Zac Barretto, were among eight selected from different backgrounds and age groups to be part of a “State of the County” video put together by the Forsyth Academy of Performing Arts and commissioned by the Director of Communications for Forsyth County.

The kids were interviewed about the role of government in the video, which was part of the County Board of Commissioners Chairman Alfred John and other members of Forsyth County government’s 2023 State of the County Address on Tuesday, March 28, at the Forsyth County Conference Center (3410 Ronald Reagan Blvd).

The annual event, hosted in partnership with the Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, was an opportunity for residents and community-minded business leaders to get updated on the County’s accomplishments of the past year and look ahead to the priorities and plans that will guide the County’s future. The theme of this year’s address was “Forsyth County Delivers.”

Attendees were invited to a “Coffee and Conversations” networking hour with County representatives and business leaders at 10:30 a.m. and to reserve a lunch served at 11:30 a.m. before the State of the County address at noon.

The address was also viewed live online at FoCoStateoftheCounty.com as well as live and on-demand on ForsythTV, available at forsythco.com

Forsyth County comes in the top 5 best counties in the USA of 2023 in terms of standard of living, schools, and diversity, and no. 1 county for families
