BY RANI SHARMA, RANEEZ BOUTIQUE
“I first met Rani in 2009 when I was looking for an outfit for our 20th anniversary. She found a fan in me right away. She has dressed me for many special events since then. She is very creative and passionate about what she does. She is right on trend with the current fashion scene. Rani is not just a great designer but also a friend.” – Geetha Agadi
Geetha Agadi is among my very special clients. She has a unique sense of style and it’s an honor that she trusts Raneez Boutique to find the right outfit for all her special events- be it a wedding, a meeting or a convention. I recently designed an outfit for her 26th wedding anniversary that she celebrated inItaly with her husband, Harsha Agadi, who is the president of Quiznos.
“I just want to see a smile on her face, and the outfit you designed was perfect for the occasion because she felt so happy in it,” Harsha remarked after seeing the dress. “We just can’t get this service and style anywhere else.”
Geetha Agadi is a woman of sentiments and treasures some of her ancestral fabrics as keepsakes. I have used the materials and embellished them with embroidery and accessories to create what I know will best suit her. Now she can enjoy her heritage that hold so much meaning, and be able to enjoy them in the form of elegant couture during special events.
Dr Asha Parikh
” I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Rani for 8 years when I happened to walk into her boutique. She is stylish and elegant but more importantly, she is one of the most welcoming, thoughtful, and compassionate individuals I know. Her taste in designing clothes is exceptional and she has a truly exquisite collection of Indian attire. She has a fantastic eye for fashion and can cater to different people’s tastes and styles.” – Dr Asha Parikh
Dr. Asha Parikh is a dear client and friend. I have been her designer for the past 7 years. Being a physician, she has a very busy schedule and doesn’t have much time to shop around for outfits. She has trusted Raneez Boutique over the past few years to take care of all her dresses for events whether it is a medical convention a wedding or just a casual evening get together.
I have been able to customize her outfits based on the type of event. For example, for conventions I like to create a sari with French lace in blues and black, for receptions I use earthy colors with swarovski and trims, for evening get togethers I design elegant tunics, straight churidar suits and crepe geometrical design saris. For weddings, I use bright colors in soft fabric with subtle borders. Dr Asha’s husband Dr. Naresh Parikh admires her outfits.
Both Geetha and Dr Asha have a great sense of style and their heritage is reflected in what they wear. It is wonderful to create their wardrobes for them.
