Seeking Lasting Happiness? Spiritual Master Deepakbhai Desai Brings Self-Realization Program to Atlanta

NRI PULSE STAFF REPORT

In an age when stress, anxiety, and the relentless pace of daily life leave many searching for meaning beyond material success, a centuries-old spiritual quest continues to resonate with people around the world: the search for lasting happiness.

That search is at the heart of a two-day spiritual program coming to Atlanta later this month, led by Pujyashree Deepakbhai Desai, the current spiritual master of the Akram Vignan tradition.

The free event, hosted at the Shree Shakti Mandir, will include spiritual discussions, interactive question-and-answer sessions, and Gnan Vidhi, a unique initiation ceremony that followers believe enables participants to experience Self-Realization.

The program begins with a general satsang on July 23 at 6 p.m., followed by Gnan Vidhi on July 24 at 5:30 p.m.

According to the organizers, the sessions are intended as practical guidance for integrating spirituality into everyday life. The emphasis is on cultivating inner peace, improving relationships, and discovering what the tradition describes as permanent happiness through realization of one’s true Self.

The teachings trace their origins to Dada Bhagwan (A. M. Patel), who introduced Akram Vignan, a spiritual science based on direct Self-Realization rather than years of ascetic practice or ritual. Followers believe that this realization can be experienced during the approximately two-hour Gnan Vidhi ceremony through the grace of a living spiritual master.

After Pujya Niruma and Dada Bhagwan (A. M. Patel) entrusted him with continuing the tradition, Deepakbhai Desai has traveled extensively across the world conducting satsangs and Gnan Vidhi ceremonies, answering spiritual questions, and introducing seekers to the Akram Vignan path.

The Atlanta program is open to all, regardless of religious background or prior spiritual experience. Organizers say no donations are requested, underscoring their mission of making the teachings freely available.

To make the event accessible to a diverse audience, live translations will be provided in Hindi and English. Complimentary meals and childcare will be available, and young people interested in community service can participate through volunteer opportunities.

Organizers recommend advance registration.
