Search for Missing Keller Man Ends in Tragedy

NRI PULSE STAFF REPORT

Keller, TX, September 8, 2025: The Keller community is mourning the loss of 48-year-old Anand Venkatraman, who was reported missing on Thursday, September 4, after he was last seen near The Keller Pointe recreation center. Keller police had issued an appeal to the public for help in locating him, describing him as 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a black shirt and brown pants at the time he went missing.

Venkatraman’s body was later located, bringing a tragic end to the search. Police have not released details about the circumstances of his death or the exact location where he was found.

In the wake of his passing, family, friends, and community members have launched a GoFundMe campaign titled Help Anand Venkatraman’s Family Navigate This Tragic Loss. The fundraiser was created by Venkatakrishnan Padmanaban to provide urgent support for Venkatraman’s wife and two children, ages 15 and 10.

According to the fundraiser, Venkatraman was the family’s sole breadwinner. His sudden death has left his wife, who is on an H-4 dependent visa, facing not only profound grief but also legal and financial uncertainty. The campaign notes that funds will be used to cover funeral expenses, settle immediate liabilities, and provide long-term stability for the children.

As of Monday, the campaign has raised nearly $96,000, reflecting widespread support from the community.

At present, no official statements have been released by Keller Police regarding the cause of death, and there is no indication from credible sources that the case involves foul play or suicide.
