Atlanta, GA: Shruthilaya conducted an in-house Carnatic music competition for the age group 5 years to 11 years at Ivy League Academy on 19th October. Around 48 kids of Shruthilaya participated in the event.
The competition started with an invocation by Gayatri Krishnan, the assistant teacher of Shruthilaya.
Three esteemed judges and accomplished artistes, Ramesh Panchagnula , Usha Venkatachalam and Bhavana Pradyumna judged the kids for all categories.
Each category was awarded four prize winners. The judges announced the results and gave away prizes.
The competition was a huge success with lot of families attending and encouraging the kids. The event concluded with a kid’s bhajan segment and the rendition of songs by Shruthilaya’s senior students.
