The musical evening came alive with a spectacular performance by renowned playback singer Sanjeevani Bhelande, accompanied by Chirag Panchal, Rupesh Rane, and Sandeep Mayekar. Their soulful renditions took the audience on a melodious journey through bhajans, romantic songs, ghazals, and qawwalis spanning multiple eras of Hindustani music.

The concert opened with a devotional Marathi abhang, followed by a heartfelt tribute to legendary singer Asha Bhosle. Sanjeevani and Chirag thoughtfully curated a blend of timeless classics and contemporary favorites, ensuring every member of the audience found songs close to their hearts.

During the intermission, Shiv Aggarwal spoke passionately about Ekal’s mission and the organization’s transformative impact on rural India. Ujwal Bagal presented Ekal’s grassroots initiatives in remote and underserved regions, sharing insights into the foundation’s mission, vision, educational programs, integrated village development efforts, and livelihood initiatives made possible through the dedication of volunteers and generous donor support. An appeal for donations was also made, along with acknowledgment of donors and sponsors.

The musical program resumed after the interval with more captivating performances by Sanjeevani and Chirag, featuring many beloved playback songs that kept the audience completely engaged and asking for “once more.” The evening concluded around 11 PM with patriotic songs that filled the hall with emotion, applause, and appreciation.

The event drew an audience of over 250 attendees, and more than 100 schools were sponsored during the program. Additional donations and pledges also continued online before, during, and after the event. Both long-time supporters and new donors praised the Ekal team for their inspiring service and dedication toward rural empowerment.

The success of the evening was further enhanced by Savla, who expertly managed the audio, video, and special effects throughout the event.

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks recognizing the tireless efforts of Ekal volunteers, performers, donors, and attendees, followed by group photographs celebrating yet another successful and meaningful event by Ekal Atlanta.
