Irrfan meets 'wonderful' Tom Hanks in Budapest

Mumbai, April 22 (IANS) Indian actor Irrfan Khan is back after his a week’s trip to Budapest, where he went to prepare for his role in Hollywood venture “Inferno”. He says the visit was “fruitful” as he even met actor Tom Hanks and is now looking forward to working with the team.

“My trip to Budapest was very fruitful. I went there for a week. It was good to meet the entire cast of the film. Tom and I along with the director and other cast members did some script reading and I also got to almost finalise the look and feel of my character,” Irrfan said in a statement.

Meeting the “Forrest Gump” actor Tom was an experience in itself for Irrfan, who has earlier starred in international projects like “Slumdog Millionaire”, “Life of Pi” and “The Amazing Spider-Man”.

“I personally feel Tom is a wonderful actor and amazing person. I met him for a brief time but I shall look forward to work with him once the shooting starts in couple of weeks,” he added.

“Inferno” will be directed by Ron Howard.
