NRI PULSE STAFF REPORT

May 6, 2024: Tiara Abraham, an 18-year-old Indian American music prodigy, has etched her name in history by earning her Master’s Degree from Indiana University (IU). She is the youngest individual to achieve this feat across all IU campuses statewide in 2024.

The California native graduated with a Master’s Degree in Music of Voice from the prestigious Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, reports WRTV.

“I started college, community college at 7-years-old so I’ve definitely gotten used to being the youngest in the classroom,” she told WRTV.

Tiara attained this milestone even before obtaining her driver’s license.

Tiara moved to California to Indiana at the age of 16 to pursue her passion for music, enrolling in one of the world’s top music schools. Her supportive parents, Bijou and Dr. Taji Abraham, shared their immense pride in her accomplishments.

The young prodigy, who became a Mensa member at 4-years-old, celebrated her Sweet 16 with an Undergraduate degree from UC Davis. She now aspires to get a doctorate from Indiana University before pursuing a career in music.
