Brahma Kumaris Atlanta Hosts Inspiring Workshop On Navigating Uncertainty and Global Anxiety

Atlanta, GA, August 7, 2026: Brahma Kumaris Atlanta hosted a special spiritual workshop titled “Navigating Uncertainty and Global Anxiety” on July 19 at the Impact Conference Center in Global Mall, Norcross. The free community event brought together participants seeking practical guidance, emotional balance and a deeper sense of inner stability during uncertain times.

The program featured Yogesh Sharda, a renowned international speaker, personal development trainer and coordinator of Brahma Kumaris in Turkey. With more than 30 years of global experience, Sharda has conducted seminars and workshops on emotional intelligence, inner leadership, spirituality and personal growth. His sessions are known for combining reflective insights with practical tools that participants can apply in their everyday lives.

During the highly engaging and interactive workshop, Sharda explored how uncertainty and global anxiety can affect emotional well-being, relationships and decision-making. Rather than focusing only on external circumstances, he encouraged attendees to examine their internal responses and recognize the role that thoughts, attitudes and perspectives play in shaping their experiences.

Through relatable examples, reflective exercises and audience interaction, Sharda emphasized that while individuals may not always be able to control changing circumstances, they can develop the inner strength to respond with greater calm, clarity and resilience. He shared practical approaches to overcoming fear, managing anxious thoughts and maintaining emotional steadiness in challenging situations.

A central message of the workshop was the importance of shifting perspective. Sharda explained that difficult situations can often be approached more constructively when individuals pause, observe their thoughts and respond consciously rather than reacting impulsively. His presentation encouraged participants to cultivate self-awareness, personal responsibility and a more positive approach to life’s challenges.

The guided meditation sessions were among the highlights of the event. Participants were invited to experience moments of stillness, reflection and inner connection. The experiential format allowed attendees not only to hear about meditation but also to directly experience its calming and restorative effects.

The atmosphere throughout the afternoon was described as peaceful, powerful and uplifting. Many participants found the meditation sessions deeply meaningful and appreciated the opportunity to step away from daily pressures and reconnect with a sense of inner peace. The workshop also included a question-and-answer session, giving attendees an opportunity to seek guidance on applying the principles discussed to their personal and professional lives.

The program began with a yoga session led by Swati Kumari, a cultural teacher at the Consulate General of India in Atlanta. Her session helped participants prepare physically and mentally for the workshop by encouraging mindful movement, breathing and relaxation.

The event concluded with light refreshments and informal interaction among participants and guests. Notable attendees included Shiv Aggarwal, Mustafa Ajmeeri and several members of the greater Atlanta community.

Through the program, Brahma Kumaris Atlanta continued its efforts to promote meditation, self-awareness and spiritual well-being. The workshop offered attendees not only an uplifting experience but also practical tools to navigate uncertainty with greater confidence, emotional balance and inner strength.
