NRI PULSE STAFF REPORT
Cumming, GA, August 8, 2025: The Wildbrooke community in Cumming recently buzzed with excitement and inspiration as it hosted a unique Kids Empowerment Event — the first-ever Indian Kid Entrepreneur Fair organized by local Indian American entrepreneur Anusmita Bardhan.
Bardhan, founder of Luxe Events by Anusmita, brought together over 28 young vendors who proudly showcased their self-made products, taking charge of everything from creation to marketing and sales. The event provided these children with hands-on lessons in business planning, accountability, sales skills, and public speaking — nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs.
All proceeds raised by the young vendors were generously donated to AccessLife America, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children battling cancer and their families, adding a heartfelt purpose to the lively fair.

Anusmita Bardhan’s vision goes beyond business success; through Luxe Events, she is committed to empowering not only adults but also youth to embrace entrepreneurship and leadership. The event was further uplifted by dedicated high school volunteers who skillfully managed operations with warmth and professionalism — a testament to Bardhan’s mentorship that helped these teens grow in confidence and responsibility.
The fair’s success has ignited enthusiasm among the participating kids, many eager to continue developing their ventures and innovating new ideas.

Looking ahead, the next event aimed at fostering young entrepreneurial spirit is scheduled for September 7th at Desana Middle School from 2 to 8 p.m. Community members are encouraged to attend and support these inspiring young champions.
