Mumbai, Sep 25 — Actress and politician Urmila Matondkar, known for her roles in films such as Rangeela, Satya, and Bhoot, has filed for divorce from her husband Mohsin Akhtar Mir after eight years of marriage. The couple, who married in 2016, first met at the wedding of fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s niece in 2014.
Mohsin, a businessman and model from Kashmir, has appeared in films like Luck By Chance and BA Pass. The couple’s wedding was an intimate affair attended by close family and friends, including Manish Malhotra.
As per media reports, Urmila filed for divorce four months ago, though further details about the proceedings have not been disclosed.
