Atlanta, GA, July 2, 2026: The Rotary Club of Emory Druid Hills celebrated its annual Installation Ceremony, ushering in the 2026–2027 Rotary year with an evening of fellowship, recognition, and renewed commitment to community service. The event brought together Rotarians, family members, friends, and prospective members to celebrate the club’s achievements while welcoming its new leadership team.
The ceremony was presided over by District Governor Steve Ivory and incoming District Governor Cynthia Edwards. Rotarian Jaslin Chahal opened the evening with a warm welcome, setting the tone for a celebration that reflected Rotary’s enduring spirit of service and leadership.
Outgoing President Bhairavi Nadgonde reflected on the club’s accomplishments during the 2025–2026 Rotary year, highlighting a range of successful service initiatives, community outreach programs, and the collective efforts of club members in making a meaningful impact locally and internationally. International Service Chair Pravin Kakadiya also presented an overview of the club’s international service projects and contributions during the past year.

The highlight of the evening was the installation of Rani Singh as President of the Rotary Club for the 2026–2027 Rotary year. District Governor Steve Ivory formally installed and pinned President Singh, symbolizing the official transfer of leadership. Incoming District Governor Cynthia Edwards then installed and pinned the club’s new Board of Directors and officers.
The newly installed leadership team includes:
- President: Rani Singh
- President-Elect & Executive Secretary: Jaslin Chahal
- Secretary: Ganesh Sawdayya
- Treasurer: Ravi Gupta
In her inaugural address, President Singh outlined an ambitious vision for the year ahead, centered on expanding the club’s impact while strengthening member engagement.
“It is truly an honor and privilege to be inducted as President of our Rotary Club,” Singh told NRI Pulse. “I am grateful for the trust and confidence that our members have placed in me, and I look forward to serving alongside such dedicated and passionate Rotarians.
“My vision for this Rotary year is centered on growth, impact, and engagement. I hope to strengthen our club by welcoming new members, expanding our community service projects, increasing fundraising efforts, and enhancing our public image so more people can see the positive difference Rotary makes. I also want our club to continue supporting Rotary International and its mission of creating lasting change around the world.
“Together, I believe we can make this a year of meaningful service, stronger connections, and greater opportunities to serve our community and beyond. I am excited about what we can accomplish as we unite for good and put Service Above Self into action.”

The evening also featured the presentation of annual club awards by outgoing President Bhairavi Nadgonde, recognizing members whose dedication, volunteerism, and commitment made significant contributions to the club’s success over the past year.
Past President Chatur Chhabhaya delivered the vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to the outgoing leadership, the incoming board, volunteers, and guests whose support continues to strengthen the club’s mission.
Following the formal installation, attendees enjoyed an evening of music and fellowship. Local singers Anita Sunny and Vipul Parmar entertained the audience with a selection of popular songs before guests gathered for dinner and conversation, celebrating both the club’s accomplishments and the beginning of a new chapter.
With President Rani Singh and her leadership team at the helm, the Rotary Club begins the 2026–2027 Rotary year with a shared commitment to expanding its reach, strengthening its service initiatives, and continuing Rotary’s enduring mission of Service Above Self.
