Engage 2018: FAIBC hosts 24th annual All Nations Deeper Life Conference

Atlanta, GA, August 6, 2018: The First Asian Indian Baptist Church of Metro Atlanta (FAIBC) successfully concluded its 24th Annual All Nations Deeper Life Conference in co-operation with the Elizabeth Baptist Church on July 22nd, 2018. This widely respected Annual Community event has become the heart-beat of both young and old alike.

The theme of this year’s conference, “The Transforming Power of the Word of God”, was given a beautiful exposition by the powerful preaching of Dr. James M. Tour of Rice University, Houston, Texas and Dr. Tanmay Pramanik, Vice President of Transnational Association of Christian College and Schools (TRACS) Lynchburg, Virginia.

Dr. James Tour is a leading scientist and Christian Apologist TT & WF Chao Professor of Materials Science and Nano Engineering and Professor of Computer Science at Rice University in Houston, Texas. In Lee Strobel’s book, “The Case for Faith” the following commentary is attributed to Tour. “I build molecules for a living. I can’t begin to tell you how difficult that job is. I stand in awe of God because of what he has done through His creation. Only a rookie who knows nothing about science would say science takes away from faith. If you really study science, it will bring you closer to God.”

Dr. Tour, his wife Shireen and son Josiah (a medical intern in Atlanta) were in attendance. Dr Pramanik has over a decade in educational administrative and accreditation experience. He has served on numerous evaluation visits all across the globe for TRACS. He has presented at Academic and Religious Conferences in the United States as well as numerous foreign countries.

Dr. Pramanik also leads the Praise and Worship Ministry of the All Nations Deeper Life Conference for the last 18 years. His wife Dina Pramanik graciously helped sing in the choir this year. FAIBC is very thankful to God for their co-operation and support for the Conference each year.

The Praise and Worship Team of the event was the best ever this year. FAIBC’s own choir provided outstanding singing in Hindi, Urdu, and Telugu. The worship music was led by gifted musicians and singers Johnson Macdonal, Sujeet Nuthulapaty and Sharoon Farhat.  The talented musicians and singers included Pastor Samuel Thompson, Vibha Wankhede, Amir Gill, Leena Nuthulapaty, Surekha Pattabhi, Surriya Farhat, and Rani Boggarapu. Gifted singer Kishor Pandagade sang solos touching the audience with his lovely singing.

This year the honorable Mike Boyce, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for Cobb County graced the event with his wife Judy on Saturday night while pastor Farhat welcomed them. Anjana Paul, a Personal Banker of Wells Fargo in Kennesaw and a long time loyal member of the church introduced the guest of honor. Boyce thereafter welcomed the guests and Dr. James Tour graciously to Cobb County. Other special guests included the Rev. Daryl Price, Executive Director, Noonday Baptist Association, The Rev. Dennis Rivera, Languages Missions, The Georgia Baptist Convention and leaders of several Congregations.

Reports of the success of the event came from all over: Rev. Kishor Pandagade, Regional Director for South Asia, Advancing Native Missions wrote: “At the outset Sikha and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the honor to be part of the 24th Anniversary, All Nations Deeper Life Conference last week. We thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Conference in so many ways, which included, the blend of cultural diversity represented by multi language and ethnic groups being brought together. The Gospel music/songs in various Indian languages with colorful dresses were awesome and inspiring. Praise God for the dedicated young people with God given talents were so visible as a sweet aroma to our heavenly Father. The presence of God was so real and tangible!”

Dr. Tanmay Pramanik

“The Messages that were brought by the gifted God’s servant were heart touching and reviving and refreshing the souls. We were again reminded about the Power of God and His Word that results in a total transformation and brings us to His saving knowledge and how we need revere the Word of God. The Fellowship and the food at the dining table was delicious and inspiring. This gave us the opportunity to meet and make many new friends and develop relationships.”

“We truly enjoyed the warm hospitality, love, and above all the Spiritual Manna in the Conference. Each one had their beautiful role to play that brought the entire Conference into a splendid event for the ultimate glory to the Lord! Thank you Pastor Younis Farhat, your wife Surriya and family. We are grateful for your able Leadership, availability, and the sweet spirit for each member present in the Conference. You did an amazing job keeping aside all the things and giving your special attention to everyone. We praise God for you and your Godly family. God willing, Sikha and I look forward to coming again to receive the blessing of your gracious fellowship. May the Lord continue to use you for His Glory.”

Similar sentiments were expressed by many who attended. Javed Massey, Executive Director Multi-Cultural Outreach of Greater Orlando stated, “I have attended your Annual event at least 7 times. By far this year’s Conference was the best. I was spiritually enriched, encouraged, and blessed abundantly by the worship songs, the Biblical teachings, the speakers, and the food was delicious. Everything was of a very high standard I look forward to attend next year’s 25th Annual Conference.”

The food arrangements by Leena Nuthalapaty, Nanditha Pradhan, and their team of superb volunteers was very well organized. Sajeela Macdonal played a vital role supporting the entire event’s coordination.   The decorations by Sam and Civea Waleski and family were outstanding.
