Dallas, TX, November 2, 2025: A group of four masked men carrying signs with messages such as “Don’t make Texas like India” were seen walking toward the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple in Frisco recently. The men reportedly stood on the public sidewalk near the temple, displaying the signs in silence.
In response, the temple management issued a calm and measured statement on social media acknowledging the incident.
“Frisco PD and temple management are aware of today’s situation involving masked men holding signs on the public sidewalk. They were within their legal rights, and Frisco PD advised not to engage,” the post read.
The temple’s statement also expressed appreciation for two local women who stood across from the protesters holding a sign in support of the Hindu community.
“It was truly heartwarming to see two women stand across from them with a sign of support for the community,” the temple added.
The Hanuman Temple, located on Independence Parkway in Frisco, is one of the largest Hindu temples in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and serves as a spiritual and cultural hub for thousands of devotees.
