Atlanta, GA, August 3, 2018: Priya Swaminathan, a seasoned entertainment executive and activist will team up with former President Barack Obama and his wife, former first lady Michelle, on their highly anticipated Netflix production company, reports the Hollywood Reporter.
Swaminathan is a filmmaker and the former director of development at Annapurna Pictures.
She is known for her work on My Name Is Khan (2010), De Dana Dan (2009) and Very Young Girls (2007).
Netflix announced in May that it has signed the Obamas to a multiple-year deal to produce films and TV series.
