Thanks to Sankara Nethralaya Board of Trustees and EC for their unconditional support. Special thanks to President Bala Indurti garu for believing in me and providing all the guidance and support.  Raju Pusapati extends his thanks for logistic support from Vice President Moorthy Rekapalli, support from Mr. Vamsy Krishna Iruvaram and Mr. Suresh Kumar for publicity, support from Mr. Thyagarajan and his Chennai Team for Flyer design.

Overall, keeping in perspective that this is the first awareness event that was conducted in Salt Lake City for Sankara Nethralaya, it was successful in generating awareness and funds to provide for about 65 cataract surgeries.

It has been a very good example of a collaborative event with support from people across all regions of the Indian (Desi) community stepping up and being generous. The main factors that led to success are volunteers, sponsors, donors, and the quality of participants.
