Ingredients:
1 bunch Chopped Palak
1 small Chopped onion
1 small Chopped tomato
1 tbsp Garlic paste
1 tbsp Ginger paste
1 tbsp Roasted cumin powder
1 tbsp Roasted coriander Powder
¼ tsp Black pepper
¼ tsp Red pepper powder
½ tsp Garam masala
2 tbsp Peeled almond or cashew paste
1 tsp Corn starch mixed with 2 tbsp of water
250 gm Fried paneer cubes
2 tbsp Cooking oil
4 leaves Bay leaves
Procedure:
Heat pressure cooker on the stove for 1 minute. Add cooking oil and bay leaves, and allow bay leaves to turn light brown.
Add onion and cook for a minute. Add garlic paste, ginger paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, black pepper, and red pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes and palak. Cook for another 2 minutes. Next, add ¼ cup of water and close the lid of the cooker. Cook for 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes, take the lid off and add corn starch mix and almond or cashew paste. Cook on low heat for 5 minutes. Add paneer and garam masala. Close the pressure cooker and remove from stove. Allow the cooker to cool at room temperature. Serve with naan or paratha.
