Monica Bhatnagar Named Fulton County School Professional of the Year

Johns Cree GA, April 9, 2025– Shabnam “Monica” Bhatnagar has been named the 2025-2026 Fulton County Schools School Professional of the Year—an honor that recognizes her outstanding contributions to education across the entire school district.

Bhatnagar, who currently serves as a Data Specialist at River Trail Middle School in Johns Creek, was also selected as the school’s own Professional of the Year for 2025-2026. Her journey within the Fulton County school system spans several years, beginning as a dedicated substitute teacher before transitioning into her current role.

Known for her quiet dedication and strong work ethic, Bhatnagar has consistently gone above and beyond to support both students and staff. In her role as Data Specialist, she plays a crucial part in managing and analyzing data that helps inform instruction and improve student outcomes.
