Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1 box (18.25) ounces duncan hines yellow cake mix or moist deluxe lemon supreme cake mix sifted (no pudding)
1 egg
1 stick soft butter
Mix cake mix, butter and egg together without water.
Grease and flour 13×9 inch pan: place cake mix in the pan and press it firmly.
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 cup crushed pineapple drained (optional)
Sprinkle on top of cake mix.
1 box(16 ounces) sifted powdered confectioners sugar
2 eggs
1 8 ounces cream cheese soft
Mix sugar, eggs and cream cheese until creamy: pour over cake mix, nuts and pineapple (if using). Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Let it cool completely and cut into small squares. Keep it refrigerated.
