Trump Condemns Dallas Motel Beheading, Blames Biden Administration

Washington, DC.C/Atlanta, GA, September 15, 2025: President Donald Trump has condemned the brutal killing of Chandra Mouli “Bob” Nagamallaiah, a Dallas motel manager who was allegedly beheaded in front of his wife and son.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump described the incident as “terrible news” and identified the suspect, Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, as “an ILLEGAL ALIEN from Cuba who should have never been in our Country.” Trump noted that Cobos-Martinez had prior convictions for child sex abuse, grand theft auto, and false imprisonment.

The former president criticized the Biden administration, claiming the suspect had been released “under incompetent Joe Biden.” He added that the accused would “be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, and will be charged with MURDER in the First Degree.” Trump closed his statement with a pledge that “the time for being soft on these Illegal Immigrant Criminals is OVER under my watch.”

The killing of Nagamallaiah, who was known in the community as “Bob,” has shocked the Indian American community in Dallas and sparked calls for justice. Federal and local authorities are continuing to investigate the case.

The National Federation of Indian-American Associations (NFIA) also issued a strongly worded statement, calling the beheading “barbaric” and “a heinous and senseless act of violence that has no place in any civilized society.” NFIA leaders said their hearts go out to the victim’s family and the community mourning this tragic loss, and demanded that justice be served swiftly.

“We urge local and federal law enforcement agencies and legislators to investigate this crime thoroughly and take immediate corrective and preventive measures to ensure the safety and security of all citizens, particularly small business owners who continue to be vulnerable to such targeted violence,” the statement read.

Signed by NFIA President Sunny Gabhawala, Chairperson Raj Razdan, Secretary Ramesh Chauhan, and the NFIA Board, the statement reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to promoting peace, harmony, and justice. “Violence of this magnitude must be condemned unequivocally, and the perpetrator(s) must be held accountable under the fullest extent of the law,” it said.
