NRI PULSE STAFF REPORT

Atlanta, GA, January 6, 2018: A recent graduate of Lawrence Tech University in Michigan is in critical condition after he was shot by robbers who took off with his car, wallet and other belongings, according to reports.

Sai Krishna, who recently started working at an automotive company in downtown Detroit, was mugged while he was on his way home from work around 11:30 pm on January 3.

The Warangal native was found on the empty road in freezing temperatures by a passerby who alerted authorities. Paramedics rushed him to the hospital.

Friends of Krishna have set up a GoFundMe account to help with medical costs. “He is in critical condition and doctors mentioned that he has to go through numerous surgeries and very complicated procedures,” the account description says.

Krishna apparently does not have health insurance, and has student debts.
