NRI PULSE STAFF REPORT

Cumming, GA, February 6, 2026: An Atlanta-area middle school student has earned a place in the record books after setting a new Guinness World Record for typing speed.

According to the Guinness World Records website, Ayush Ajanth achieved the record for the Fastest Time to Type the Alphabet (Under 16s) by typing the letters A to Z in 2.22 seconds. The record was officially certified and achieved in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 28, 2025.

Ayush, who attends Vickery Creek Middle School in Forsyth County, surpassed the previous benchmark for the category. Guinness World Records lists him as the current record holder in the under-16 age group.

In addition to his typing achievement, Guinness World Records notes that Ayush is also a competitive chess player and speedcuber, disciplines that similarly require focus, precision, and quick decision-making.

The record adds Ayush Ajanth to the global roster of young achievers recognized by Guinness World Records for exceptional skill.
