For cricket lovers young and old, it’s that time of the year again! The onset of spring brings with it the most prestigious cricket tournament in the Atlanta area, the Vibha FutureTech Cricket Tournament. Every year for the last 14 years, cricket enthusiasts from the region come together and compete for the coveted Dream cup. Each year brings tons of exciting games, nerve-racking pressure and nail-biting finishes in a highly competitive yet friendly spirit and support for a noble cause that makes a huge difference in the life of a child. In the last 14 years, Vibha has contributed significantly to improve the lives of millions of underprivileged children around the globe, thanks to the support and patronage of the community.
This year, the Vibha Future Tech 2013 cricket tournament will be hosted on cricketing mats at the baseball fields at East Roswell Park. The preliminary rounds will be held on April 20th and 27th. Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Finals will be played on the weekend of May 4th and May 11th will left as a reserved day. A few games will be played at Waller Park Extension during the second week of the tournament. The organizers are hoping to have a great turn out and another fantastic year of cricket. Interested parties are encouraged to register their teams as early as possible so the event can be planned accordingly. As always, Vibha would love for all participants and supporters to spread the word.
