Warrenton , GA, December 10, 2025 — The Siddhashram of North America in Shangri-La, a sprawling 500-acre spiritual retreat outside Atlanta, marked a milestone on Saturday with the inauguration of Vrindavan Dham, a new Gaushala dedicated to cow protection and spiritual practice.
The ceremony was led by Sri Lalitha Ananda Natha ji and held with the blessings of Sri Siddheswarananda Bharati Swamiji. A key feature of the inauguration was the consecration of a Garuku Stambham, a traditional sacred pillar for cows. Organizers said Vrindavan Dham is the first Gaushala in the United States to install such a pillar, symbolizing divine protection and reverence for cows in Hindu tradition.

Devotees from across the country gathered to welcome cows Nandini and Govinda, the first members of the Vrindavan Dham herd. The event emphasized the cultural and spiritual importance of cow care, which is deeply rooted in Indian philosophy and practice.

“This Gaushala is not just a sanctuary for cows, but a sacred space where we connect with divine energy and nature,” Sri Lalitha Ananda Natha ji said during the ceremony. He noted that the new facility will host programs centered on spirituality, sustainability, and community well-being.

Vrindavan Dham is part of the larger vision of Siddhashram of North America, which aims to provide a peaceful environment for spiritual seekers while preserving traditional values. Shangri-La, founded by Sri Lalitha Ananda Natha ji, is known for its natural serenity and focus on meditation, healing, and self-realization.
