PSSM USA and APMA Host World Meditation Day in Atlanta with Over 500 Participants

Atlanta, GA, December 27, 2025: The Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement (PSSM) USA and Atlanta Pyramid Meditation Academy (APMA), in collaboration with Atlanta SKY, GATeS, Maithri Foundation, WOW Foundation, Gitawise, Isha Foundation, Guru Siyag Siddha Yoga and Soul Thursdays successfully hosted World Meditation Day in Atlanta on December 21st at Sharon Elementary School, Suwanee, in observance of the day officially designated by the United Nations.

The event was honored by the presence of chief guests Mr. Dilip Tunki, Mayor Pro Tem and City Council Member of Johns Creek, and Mr. Ankit Verma, Vice Consul at the Consulate General of India (CGI), Atlanta. Over 500 participants came together for a powerful synchronized meditation, creating a historic moment for the Atlanta community.

The objective of the event was to raise awareness about meditation and its far-reaching benefits for individuals, families, and society at large. The program offered a deeply transformative experience that fostered inner peace, unity, and collective well-being.

The day featured guided meditation sessions, spiritual talks by eminent speakers, and a thought-provoking panel discussion with Dr. Nagesh Kasam (Ayurveda Doctor), Madhavi Cingirikonda (WOW Foundation), Calvin Baldwin (Soul Thursday), and Dr. Deepti Talluri, MHA, CLC. A highlight of the event was the participation of more than 50 children, took part in meditation, led a Vegetarian Awareness rally, and presented vibrant cultural performances.

This landmark event marked the first time over 500 people meditated together under one roof in Atlanta, with a majority being first-time meditators. The program inspired many newcomers to begin their meditation journey and experience its long-term benefits.

APMA and PSSM USA expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all collaborating organizations, speakers, volunteers, media partners, and participants for making World Meditation Day in Atlanta a resounding success.
