Netflix India lifted the curtain on its ambitious 2026 content slate at the Next on Netflix showcase held in Mumbai on February 3, 2026. The star-studded event, hosted at JW Marriott, Juhu, saw the presence of several leading names from Indian cinema and streaming, including Sunny Deol, Anil Kapoor, Vikrant Massey, Madhuri Dixit, R. Madhavan, Manoj Bajpayee, Bhuvan Bam, Vijay Varma, Dia Mirza, Vishal Bhardwaj, Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao and others.
The announcement featured an expansive mix of films, series and non-fiction content spanning multiple languages and genres—ranging from legal dramas and historical thrillers to romantic anthologies, action-packed series and large-scale reality shows.
Films
Ikka
Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna headline Ikka, a courtroom drama directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra. Written by Althea Kaushal and Mayank Tewari, the film revolves around an intense legal battle between two former adversaries. The cast also includes Dia Mirza, Tillotama Shome, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Shishir Sharma and Akansha Ranjan. The teaser hints at a deeply emotional conflict rooted in past trauma, moral compromise and personal loss.
Hum Hindustani
Saif Ali Khan and Pratik Gandhi come together in Rahul Dholakia’s Hum Hindustani, inspired by true events surrounding India’s first general election. Produced by Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani, the period drama also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Mimi Chakraborty, Sarika and Shraddha Dangar. The film follows a determined government official and a principled police officer navigating a defining moment in the nation’s democratic journey.
Ghooskhor Pandat
Manoj Bajpayee reunites with Neeraj Pandey for this gritty thriller about a corrupt police officer drawn into a global conspiracy. Directed by Ritesh Shah, who also co-wrote the film, Ghooskhor Pandat stars Nushrat Bharuccha, Saqib Saleem, Akshay Oberoi and Divya Dutta.
Lust Stories 3
Netflix’s popular anthology returns with its third installment, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra and Vishal Bhardwaj. Lust Stories 3 explores intimacy, longing and emotional vulnerability through diverse narratives. The ensemble includes Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Vijay Varma, Abhishek Banerjee, Ali Fazal, Radhika Madan, Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth.
Maa Behen
Madhuri Dixit, Ravi Kishan and Triptii Dimri star in this quirky crime drama directed by Suresh Triveni and written by Pooja Tolani. The story follows a mother and her two daughters who find themselves scrambling to cover up an unexpected crime inside their home.
Gandhari
Taapsee Pannu leads this emotionally charged revenge drama directed by Devashish Makhija. Written and produced by Kanika Dhillon, the film tells the story of a mother battling trauma and blindness while taking on a child-trafficking network. The cast includes Ishwak Singh, Chhaya Kadam and Swastika Mukherjee.
Accused
Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, Accused stars Konkona Sen Sharma as a celebrated queer doctor in London facing allegations that threaten her career and personal life. Pratibha Ranta plays her wife. The film is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment.
Made in Korea
A coming-of-age drama directed by R.A. Karthik, Made in Korea follows a young woman from Tamil Nadu whose dream trip to Korea challenges her expectations and reshapes her worldview. The film stars Priyanka Mohan and Park Hye-Jin.
Kartavya
Saif Ali Khan returns as a police officer in this crime drama directed by Pulkit. Produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment, the film explores the cost of duty when personal and professional lives collide. Rasika Duggal, Sanjay Mishra and Zakir Hussain feature in key roles.
Takshakudu
This Telugu folk thriller directed by Vinod Anantoju follows a blind tribesman and his dog on a quest for justice. The film stars Anand Devarakonda and Nitanshi Goel.
Toaster
Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra headline this dark comedy directed by Vivek Das Chaudhary. The story spirals into chaos after a seemingly harmless wedding gift triggers a chain of deadly consequences.

Family Business
Anil Kapoor and Vijay Varma star in Hansal Mehta’s corporate thriller about power, succession and fractured family dynamics within a business empire. The ensemble cast includes Neha Dhupia, Rhea Chakraborty, Raima Sen and Dhruv Sehgal.
Super Subbu
