Carrollton, GA, September 16, 2025: The Carrollton Police Department has confirmed that Bijal Patel, a 33-year-old woman reported missing earlier this month, has been located and is safe.
Patel was last seen on Sunday, September 7, 2025, around 7:00 p.m. leaving her residence near Meadow Run in Carrollton. Authorities said she was wearing black pants and a black t-shirt and driving a silver 2010 Honda Accord with Georgia license plate BNK6181.
In the days following her disappearance, law enforcement circulated a missing person alert, and community groups shared her information widely on social media. On September 13, the Facebook page Tennessee Missing and Unsolved reported that Patel was believed to be in Nashville, Tennessee, after leaving Carrollton.
Authorities did not provide details about her time in Tennessee or the circumstances that led to her being found. However, in an update on September 16, the Carrollton Police Department confirmed via its official Facebook page that Patel had been located and is safe.
No further details were released regarding the circumstances of her disappearance or recovery.
