NRI PULSE STAFF REPORT
Atlanta, GA, February 6, 2026: A musical narrative centered on women’s health and lived experience is finding a wide and receptive audience. SHE – Her Time, Her Story, Her Power, a music production of Atlanta Cinema Talkies, has crossed a major digital milestone, surpassing two million views for its Malayalam version and more than one million views for its Hindi version, signaling a growing openness to conversations around perimenopause, a natural but often misunderstood phase in a woman’s life.
Directed by Shyam Krishna and produced by Aiswarya Sreejith along with Shyam Krishna, the project marks Atlanta Cinema Talkies’ 14th production. The team says the response reflects how closely the narrative mirrors real, often unspoken experiences within families. Associate Director Sachith Ram and Production Manager and Controller Viju Krishnan rounded out the core creative team.
The music video traces the emotional and physical changes faced by a woman navigating perimenopause, including forgetfulness, mood swings, emotional withdrawal, and inner turmoil that begin to strain her personal life and marriage. What initially appears confusing and frightening is gradually understood through awareness and medical consultation, leading to reassurance, clarity, and renewed strength with the support of family members. Viewers, particularly women and caregivers, have responded strongly to this arc of recognition and empathy.
“SHE was born from the need to tell a story that many women live silently,” director Shyam Krishna said. “We wanted to create understanding, not fear. Perimenopause is not an ending—it is a transition that deserves awareness and compassion.” Producer Aiswarya Sreejith echoed that sentiment, noting that the rapid rise in views reflects a readiness to talk and listen. “Seeing the video cross two million views shows how deeply this story connects,” she said. “It tells us that women are ready to speak, and families are ready to listen.”
Music for the project was composed and produced by Job Kurian, with vocals by Anila Rajeev and Job Kurian. Lyrics were penned by Engandiyoor Chandrasekharan in Malayalam and Anagha Meera Manoharan in Hindi, with an international touch added through Bulgarian string arrangements. The script and screenplay were written by Shyam Krishna and Aiswarya Sreejith, while cinematography, editing, and color were handled by Guru Films. Lena is credited with the theme, and Rockfield Marketing managed poster design and promotion.
Beyond its creative team, the project drew strong backing from women entrepreneurs and allied businesses who identified with its message of health awareness and empowerment. Supporters included Kavita Ramachandran; Disha by Priya, founded by Priya Darmendra; Singh PWM; Janki Foods; Anaisha S Boutique; Dr. Sumi R. Thomas; Ojasi Design Studio; Jasvinder Bagga; Hetal Patel; and Mustafa Ajmeri. The producers described this support as a model of community-driven advocacy, with professionals coming together to amplify conversations that often remain on the margins.
“The support from women entrepreneurs and allies reinforces the true spirit of women uplifting women,” Aiswarya Sreejith said. “Their trust in this story gave us strength to take this message further.”
With music rights and global distribution managed by Saina Music, SHE – Her Time, Her Story, Her Power is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and other major streaming platforms. As its viewership continues to grow, the project is being described by its creators as more than a music video—an ongoing movement aimed at awareness, empathy, and honest storytelling around women’s health.
